The Truck Appointment System allows users to book their terminal visits in advance to ensure direct entry to terminal when truck arrives, it also allows user to see what hours are already heavily booked, giving an option to choose a different time slot if better suited.
Each hour has a defined number of time slots to book. The time slots are released depending on terminal capabilities and customer demand.
All terminal visits containing OOG & Special Handling containers must have the truck manifest marked with Special Handling before arrival at the terminal. If a truck arrives without correct information, it will be marked as NON-SERVICE, and the truck will have to create new appointments at the next available slot time.
