All people who enter the terminal need to be verified and approved by Hutchison Ports Stockholm, this includes truck drivers who arrive to drop-off and collect containers.
APPLY FOR ACCESS CARD
To apply for an access card at Hutchison Ports Stockholm, please follow the steps below. This digital process ensures faster handling, reduced waiting time on-site, and secure (GDPR-compliant) processing of your personal data.
STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS
1. Complete the online application form Fill in all required personal, company, and safety-related information. The application must be completed and submitted by the haulier company under which the driver operates (not by the driver).
Important: The company must be a registered customer of HPS. If the company is not yet registered, the company registration form must be submitted and approved first before applying for an access card.
2. Prepare required documentation Ensure all required information and documents are available before submission.
3. Upload your photo Your photo must meet the required standards (see photo guidelines below).
4. Submit your application Once submitted, your request will be reviewed and processed.
5. Confirmation from HPS HPS will notify you by email once the access card is ready for collection.
COMPANY RESPONSIBILITY
The company under which the driver is registered:
· Is fully responsible for the driver’s behaviour within the terminal
· Is liable for any costs resulting from non-compliance with terminal rules
· Must ensure that the driver meets all safety and operational requirements
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
· Dangerous Goods (if applicable): You must confirm that you hold a valid license and comply with regulations
· Signature: You must confirm that all provided information is correct
· Fees:
o New access card issuance: SEK 300
o Lost or non-returned cards: SEK 525
o Non-compliance with terminal rules: SEK 478
o No-show during peak hours (06:00–08:00 and 11:00–13:00): SEK 756
o Access card subscription: SEK 100/year
PHOTO REQUIREMENTS
Your application must include a photo that meets the following:
· White background
· Face clearly visible and centered (upper chest visible)
· Good lighting and high quality
· No headwear or face covering
· Glasses allowed if normally worn
· The photo must be taken within the last 12 months
· File format: JPG, JPEG, PNG or GIF
· File name: FirstName_LastName
