The automated gate system works together with our ubi application to decrease the time spent at the terminal, by directly creating the full terminal visit the second the truck arrives to the terminal.
The system scans the container numbers while the truck is in motion, based on a set of sensors. It automatically operates the illumination, takes pictures from several cameras, extracts the ID numbers, classifies the type of containers, verifies the results, then outputs the results to a higher platform such as the Port Automation & Control System (PASS).
